Lamas Housing Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit devoted to acquiring, developing, and implementing sustainable, community-centered affordable housing in the San Jacinto Valley, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Los Angeles County. The organization aims to create long-term housing solutions that strengthen neighborhoods, foster inclusion, and empower under-served populations through culturally grounded, holistic housing development and advocacy.
With a cumulative experience of nearly three decades, our team at Lamas Housing Project brings unparalleled expertise to the affordable housing landscape. We specialize in conceptualizing and executing housing projects tailored to the diverse needs of communities. Our approach is characterized by innovative, sustainable practices in design and construction, while remaining attentive to the socio-economic context of our target areas.
We prioritize strategic collaborations with local governments and dual agency municipalities, aligning our development projects with the broader objectives of the communities we serve. These partnerships have solidified our role as a compliant and cooperative entity, adhering to both state and federal regulations, and responding to the community’s needs and vision.
Our organization actively participates in policy advocacy, community education, and cultural initiatives. Notable contributions include our leadership role in the Emergency Housing Ordinance in Hemet, CA, and participation in cultural events as the 1st Ever Producer of events like the Día de Los Muertos Celebration, reflecting our deep commitment to “Our CULTURA “, community engagement and social advocacy.
We are dedicated to creating not just affordable housing but nurturing inclusive and sustainable communities. Our future endeavors are focused on continuing to provide housing solutions that serve as cornerstones for community development and empowerment.
Lamas Housing Project is more than a developer; we are a collaborative partner committed to fostering equitable and thriving communities. Our expertise, dedication, and collaborative ethos
We believe in strong partnerships with the private sector, state and federal authorities, and local organizations to gather external resources that foster sustainable communities. The Organization has a pivotal voice in advocacy through its involvement with the Continuum of Care with the County of Riverside and collaborates with 92 organizations addressing housing solutions and wrap around services.
Our community predominantly serves the low-income community in Riverside County Districts 3, 4 and 5, with a particular focus on the San Jacinto Valley, Tribal communities, and others.
Lamas Housing Project is expanding its services to better support vulnerable residents across San Jacinto Valley, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Los Angeles County. In addition to our affordable housing and redevelopment work, we are preparing to offer Housing Community Supports for Medi-Cal members, including Housing Transition Navigation and Tenancy Sustaining Services. These services will help individuals and families secure stable housing, maintain long-term tenancy, and access coordinated community resources.
As part of our growth, we are also building the infrastructure to participate in Enhanced Care Management (ECM) in the future, strengthening our ability to support high-need populations with coordinated, whole-person care.
Our commitment is to continue evolving with the needs of our community—providing culturally grounded housing solutions, wraparound support, and pathways to stability for low-income and at-risk households throughout our communities.

Lamas Housing Project is distinguished by its rigorous compliance with all relevant regulatory standards. We are dedicated to ensuring that our projects not only meet but exceed the requirements set by state and federal authorities, exemplifying the highest standards of regulatory adherence in planning, construction, and community integration.
